Small-scale mixing test (lab plastomill)
Under dynamic conditions, the melting torque of the polymer is detected, and the melting viscosity, temperature, and shear stability are measured. Evaluation of small sample quantities is possible.
The laboplastomill examines the behavior during mixing by measuring the torque and resin temperature during the kneading process. A lump-like kneaded product is obtained, and tests can be conducted with approximately tens of grams of material.
